OBS ERP offers seamless integration with Google Maps, enabling auto-complete of addresses and displaying them on the map. This can streamline processes such as customer address entry, vendor location, and more.

API Key Setup

In order to use the Google Maps integration in OBS ERP, you will need to obtain an API key from Google.

Step 1: Visit Google Cloud Console and create a project to generate an API key.

Step 2: After obtaining the API key, configure it in OBS ERP.

Setting Up the API Key in OBS ERP

To integrate Google Maps with OBS ERP, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to "Administration → Settings → Preferences" in OBS ERP.
2. Locate the field for google_maps_api_key.
3. Enter your Google Maps API key in the respective field.
4. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Auto-Complete and Map Display Features

Once set up, OBS ERP will automatically complete addresses entered into any relevant fields, such as customer or vendor addresses. Additionally, these addresses can be displayed on a map for easy reference.

This integration helps simplify location management by utilizing Google’s powerful geocoding services, ensuring accurate and quick address handling.
