The Settings and Configurations section provides critical information for tailoring the system to meet specific organizational requirements. This includes defining the behavior of the Quarterly Table in Shift Management, which is essential for accurate planning and reporting.

Below are detailed explanations of two key settings and their respective configurations:

  • Quarterly Table - Worked Hours Calculation Rule
  • Quarterly Table - Quarter Type

Each setting plays a vital role in ensuring the system aligns with your operational and reporting needs.



Quarterly Table - Worked Hours Calculation Rule

Description: This setting determines how worked hours are calculated in the Quarterly Table, including whether specific hours such as sick leave or unpaid hours are included in the calculation.

Key: quarterly_table_above_shifts_worked_hours

Example Name: "Quarterly Table in Shift Management - Worked Hours Calculation Rule"

Possible Values:

  • sick_leave_and_unpaid_included: Includes sick leave and unpaid hours in the worked hours calculation.
  • Other custom values: Configurable based on organizational needs.

Use Case: For compliance reporting, unpaid hours might be included, whereas for productivity tracking, they could be excluded.

How to Configure

  1. Access the Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the Admin Panel.
  3. Open the Settings section.
  4. Search for "quarterly_table_above_shifts_worked_hours".
  5. Enter the desired value, such as "sick_leave_and_unpaid_included".
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.


Quarterly Table - Quarter Type

Description: This setting defines the quarter type used in the Quarterly Table for Shift Management. Organizations can use standard calendar quarters or adjust them with offsets to align with fiscal or operational calendars.

Key: quarterly_table_above_shifts_quarter_type

Example Name: "Quarterly Table in Shift Management - Quarter Type"

Possible Values:

  • regular: Standard calendar quarters:
    • Q1: Jan-Feb-Mar
    • Q2: Apr-May-Jun
    • Q3: Jul-Aug-Sep
    • Q4: Oct-Nov-Dec
  • offset1: Quarters shifted by one month:
    • Q1: Dec-Jan-Feb
    • Q2: Mar-Apr-May
    • Q3: Jun-Jul-Aug
    • Q4: Sep-Oct-Nov
  • offset2: Quarters shifted by two months:
    • Q1: Nov-Dec-Jan
    • Q2: Feb-Mar-Apr
    • Q3: May-Jun-Jul
    • Q4: Aug-Sep-Oct

Use Case: An organization with a fiscal year starting in November might use offset2 to align reporting and planning with fiscal quarters.

How to Configure

  1. Access the Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the Admin Panel.
  3. Open the Settings section.
  4. Search for "quarterly_table_above_shifts_quarter_type".
  5. Select a value such as "regular", "offset1", or "offset2".
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.
